WIREFRAME

Image
✩ WIREFRAME ✩ A wireframe for cooking in VR technology functions as a blueprint for the user interface and interaction flow . It helps designers map out how users will navigate the VR space , interact with recipes, and access features like ingredient lists or cooking instructions. By visualizing the layout and user journey, the wireframe ensures the VR cooking experience is organized, intuitive, and user-friendly . It also helps the team plan how users will move through tasks in the VR environment , like selecting tools, following steps, and completing dishes. ___________________________________________________________________________________ HERE OUR WIREFRAME BY USING FIGMA: ⛛ https://www.figma.com/design/0zLfx9jeE3xa0wPYDt1dFG/wireframe?node-id=0-1&t=h5Uma615Wn7KM125-1 1️⃣ Splash Screen / Intro Page Function : Welcomes the user with the app logo and tagline (e.g., "Let’s learn cooking with us" ). Purpose : Introduce the app identity, give a professional look....

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Image
P/S: SOME OF THE PICTURE NEED TO BE CLICKED TO READ DETAIL AND CLEAR INFORMATION, THANK YOU !  ✩ PROBLEM STATEMENT ✩ Problem Statement: ⛛ A problem statement clearly describes the main issue or challenge the project is trying to solve. It helps the team focus on the user’s needs and the purpose of the solution. For example, in VR cooking: "Users struggle to learn cooking skills independently due to lack of clear, interactive guidance. This VR system aims to provide step-by-step cooking tutorials in an engaging and easy-to-follow format." _ __________________________________________________________________________________ ✩ TITLE: Exploring Virtual Reality (VR) for cooking skill among UUM students. ✩ Project Background: ⛛ Project background explains the main purpose, goals, and direction of the project. It includes details like the objective, scope, target audience, and genre , providing a clear understanding of what the project is about and who it is for. ________...

PROPOSED SOLUTION

Image
✩ PROPOSED SOLUTION ✩ To overcome the challenges, we created a VR Cooking Simulation called ChefBuddy for UUM students. This VR experience will help students to practice cooking in a realistic virtual kitchen, where they can follow clear, interactive instructions at their own pace. The simulation will guide users through each recipe step-by-step, helping them learn proper measurements, ingredient identification, timing, and cooking techniques without the fear of making mistakes. Real-time feedback will be provided if students overcook, undercook, or follow the wrong steps, encouraging continuous learning and improvement. Students will gain confidence and hands-on experience, reducing their chances of making costly or dangerous errors when cooking in real life. ChefBuddy's goal is making them more confident and independent in their cooking skills before stepping into a real kitchen.

USER-PERSONA

Image
P/S: SOME OF THE PICTURE NEED TO BE CLICKED TO READ DETAIL AND CLEAR INFORMATION, THANK YOU ! ✩ USER - PERSONA ✩ The function of user persona in a project like cooking using VR (Virtual Reality) technology is crucial to ensure that the design and experience meet the needs of the target users. This user persona include frustration, goal, use of technology and main task of the user. 1. FRUSTRATION ✅ Function: Highlights the main problems or pain points users face in real life. Helps the design team understand what needs to be solved with the VR product. For example: If users often feel confused about ingredients or recipe steps, the VR system must provide clear, step-by-step guidance . 2. GOAL ✅ Function: Describes what the user wants to achieve by using the technology. Guides the project team to focus on meeting user objectives . For example: If users want to gain confidence and cook independently, the VR experience should help build real-life cooking skills gr...

TASK ANALYSIS

Image
P/S: SOME OF THE PICTURE NEED TO BE CLICKED TO READ CLEAR INFORMATION, THANK YOU !  ✩ TASK ANALYSIS ✩ Task Analysis for Flow App: ⛛ Task Analysis for a flow app is used to identify and break down tasks the user needs to complete (like cooking steps in a VR app). It helps ensure the app’s features and layout match user needs and make tasks easy and logical.  https://www.figma.com/board/QxrT6aj6I3CGwKp6cn0CCO/APP-S-INTERFACES-FLOW?node-id=0-1&t=wJebMG6QvD2ngRA L-1 ________________________________________ ________________________________________ Task Analysis for Flow Project:  ⛛ For the flow project , task analysis helps plan the overall project flow by breaking down tasks into smaller steps (like research, design, testing). This helps the team manage the order of work and ensure a smooth project timeline .

DESIGN PROCESS (METHOD) AND PROJECT PLANNING/ SCHEDULE

Image
✩ DESIGN PROCESS (METHOD) & PROJECT PLANNING/SCHEDULE ✩ Design Process (Method): The design process is the step-by-step method used to create the VR cooking project. It includes stages like empathize , define, brainstorming, prototyping, testing, and final development to ensure the product is user-centered and effective . Project Planning/Schedule: This is a time management plan that shows when tasks should be done , ensuring the project is completed on time. It includes tasks like research, design, testing, and final delivery, each with a clear deadline. ___________________________________________________________________________________ DESIGN PROCESS (METHOD) : ⛛ Empathize : Distribute Google Forms to UUM students to gather insights on their interest, challenges, and expectations for learning cooking through VR. Define : Analyze the survey responses to clearly define the problem statement and set project objectives focused on realism, safety, and effective skill-buildin...
